January Issue

Editor’s Note

What a ride last year was! What will this new year bring? What is your intent? Your greatest desire and vision for yourself and the planet?

The time is NOW for that quantum leap. And the theme of this issue is JUMP!

Betsy Chasse and I were fortunate to be taping an interview with the redoubtable Jean Houston a few years ago for the anticipated BLEEP II, when she unexpectedly launched into a recitation of a poem of hers called … yep, JUMP!

After she finished and the goose bumps settled down, we all looked at each other with one thought in mind.  As Betsy puts it, “We all knew it would be awesome to make a video out of.” Months later, just for the fun of it, Betsy joined the Blue Dot Production team, Ri Stewart and Renee Slade, in their Oregon studio and they did just that. It’s been sitting in the vault ever since. Here, without further ado, is a link to this little “behind the scenes” gem. Enjoy! Share!

The theme of the quantum leap continues in our interview with Betsy, who catches us up on her life and many amazing creations (films, books, TV show, magazine!).

We also have an interview with Endre Balogh, concert violinist and photographer who’s stunning photographs illustrate Will Arntz and Deirdre Hade’s recently released The (not so) Little Book of Surprises. (BookofSurprises.com). Included is an audience shot clip of Endre playing Bach on his Stradivarius Violin at the book event at The Sacred Space.

Will lets us all in on “Whatever Happened to Bleep II?”  (I think he’s waiting for that quantum leap!)

We have a surprise interview with Dr. Jeffrey Fannin, psychologist and neurological researcher involved in brainmapping, a new technology designed to place your brain’s evolution in your own hands.

And last, but not least, here’s a fun video I did about the EGO (a topic that’s getting a lot of press lately) and my new book The E Word: Ego, Enlightenment & Other Essentials, coming out January 17th. Yay!

Next month we catch up with Mark Vicente. Will does an interview with yours truly. We take a quick peek at where some of the BLEEP scientists are today and who knows what else? Leave room for the mystery!

Until then, here’s to an awesome start to 2017. And remember: Don’t be afraid to JUMP!!!!
