The programming works on the super extended 5 hour version which has incorporated most of the 2 previous versions (What the BLEEP Do We Know!? and What the BLEEP – Down the Rabbit Hole), restructured the flow, added new topics and another 2.5 hours of interviews. Having personally tested these DVDs, I can report it’s pretty cool. Linking together interviews in different order produces a different impact each time because these topics are all inter-related. It all fits together in surprising ways!
For a better understanding, check out the Quantum Play Mode Tutorial excerpted from the multi-disc DVD at whatthebleep.com/quantum. This brochure has links to the tutorial, all the trailers and the table of contents as well.
Yes – we nerded out on this, but we think you’ll nerd out too. page 1 2
BLEEP FEST 2006
It's summer and we have a lot to celebrate. Not only do we have the new 6-sided, 3 disk Quantum Edition of Down the Rabbit Hole being released August 1st, we also have the Official Soundtrack from What the BLEEP Do We Know!? coming out at the same time.
As a result, we are bringing together some of the stars of the movie and a great line-up of musical artists, surrounding them with visual delights and interactive activities, all in a scientifically provocative venue. BLEEP Fest 2006, presented by the BLEEP Store, is a one-day event, which will be held at the California Science Center – Wallis Annenberg Bldg in a gorgeous atrium "lab" beside the Exposition Park Rose Gardens, August 12th from 1pm-9pm. Actress Elaine Hendrix (Jennifer) will serve as festival host, and guest speaker Dr. Joe Dispenza will give a talk during the day. Performing live are official soundtrack artists Patrick O'Hearn, John Serrie and Aeon Spoke, as well as Bosendorfer artist Alan Roubik, Gordie Grobelny, Lili Haydn, and other surprise talents.** Filmmakers Will Arntz and Betsy Chasse will be there for book and DVD signings.
An open floor area for dance and movement (and a DJ, of course) will feature prominently, along with Community Sharings, Art by Coe Kitten, a Bamboo Garden, Raffle Drawings, Sneak-peak DVD footage, and over 30 really cool merchandise, food and service vendors.
Tickets: $35 advance; $45 at the door at bleepstore.com. First come, first serve festival seating, as well as a copy of a collector's edition Dr. Quantum Comic Book and a chance to win official BLEEP merchandise. The California Science Center is located at 700 State Drive, Los Angeles, CA 90037. For booth space contact boothspace@whatthebleep.com **All appearances are subject to availability
