I like the fact that everyone is open to different ideas and perspectives.
We started by going over the Bleep Study Guide. The members now share resources and ideas, and talk about personal experiences in the Yahoo Group. There are also meetings about every month where those who are interested meet in person and discuss ideas and experiences.
Movie nights are another type of an event that are organized by volunteer group members. We watched “The Secret” the other day and discussed it at one of the members’ house. Other movies that we’ve reviewed include “What the Bleep Do We Know?”, “What the Bleep, Down the Rabbit Hole” and “Create Your Day” featuring Ramtha. Some books including The Power of Now by Eckhart Tolle and Excuse Me, Your Life is Waiting by Lynn Grabhorn have also been reviewed or suggested by members. Buddhism and Zen are also popular subjects in discussions.
The experience of observing how what we call the reality forms is amazing. I enjoy watching my thoughts and being present when they form, and not taking them as the reality. It brings about a new level of freedom and peace. It also makes me 100% responsible for my experience of life. Life becomes a creation.
Here is a personal example:
I wanted to buy an apartment and was looking at many different ones during the last six months. They either didn’t fit my needs or I didn’t like them. I was walking to a theater the other day when I noticed an open house sign for a beautiful building that was just built in the next block from where I used to live. The moment I saw the building I knew this is the one. I called the number and asked for an appointment for the day after, which was a Sat. I went to see the place the next morning and liked it a lot. The seller said there is already an offer on the apartment and her realtor is going to discuss it with her at 1:00pm that day. After we departed, I knew that I wanted that apartment. I wanted the seller to choose my offer. By that time she was in her car leaving the building.
It was then when I used what I’ve learned: I got present to a flow of joy in me towards the apartment. I walked to her car, stopped her and simply talked to her from that space within me and told her that I liked the apartment and I’m going to put an offer.
2 hours later, after I gave my offer, I met her realtor. He said they accepted my offer! Later the seller’s husband told me she accepted my offer because she liked me.
I’m clear that this works and am so inspired when I can tap into this space of choice and creation.
