A similar study of articles from the New York Times, Washington Post, LA Times, and Wall Street Journal was done. As the book details: “They selected a large random sample of 18% of the articles. Astonishingly, they found that more than one-half gave equal weight to the consensus view on the one hand, and the scientifically discredited view that human beings play no role in global warming on the other. The authors concluded that American news media had been falsely ‘giving the impression that the scientific community was embroiled in a rip-roaring debate on whether or not humans were contributing to global warming.’”
Overall, this movie was startling, and yet hopeful. Just as the super-powers backed off the 1960s’ nightmare of atomic war once the world realized what the consequences were, so too, can humanity reverse the global warming trend, and avoid some horrific future timelines.
But only if we decide to. Only if we create that.
Movie Review: The Secret

The secret’s not so secret anymore - especially since Prime Time Production producers Rhonda Byrne, Paul Harrington and Glenda Bell, along with director Drew Heriot spread it across the world via the Internet.
Just what is “the secret”? Well, the answer is two-fold. “The secret” is knowledge kept well hidden from the majority of humanity for thousands of years regarding the Law of Attraction as it affects the lives of human beings. And what is the Law of Attraction? Basically it reveals that what you express in your thoughts and emotions determines what you attract in your life. If you’re depressed, you draw depressing circumstances and events into your life. If you’re feeling abundant and joyful you literally attract people, objects, and opportunities that add to your abundance and joy. Or, to give it a more spiritual spin: “As within, so without.”
Now The Secret is the film that has, quite literally, let the cat out of the bag. Yes, lots of movies and books and programs, from Tony Robbins to The BLEEP, have encouraged this truth to scamper around freely for some time. Yet information about the Law of Attraction at its simplest has long tended to be obscured by “systems,” esoterica, science and special techniques. What Byrne and her team have essentially done is taken the information and pared it down to its most easily digestible, non-sectarian essence - made one hell of an interesting documentary out of it, then made it easily downloadable off the net. With this format it is unlikely “the secret” will slide beneath the radar again any time soon.
