As a result of that insight, many of the Elora Media books, videos and games will be designed as interactive creativity builders that parents can use with their children that are not teaching tools so much as they are “permission tools” for children to let their natural creativity flow. It is a child’s innate wisdom and powerful creative urges that Chasse believes are the fundamentals of spiritual expression - something that most books and games do not consciously foster.

“I think children’s spirituality often becomes an afterthought,” she says. “There's so many things we feel we need to get our children doing that we tend to forget who and what they really are inside.

“But if children understand and know themselves, and feel competent and confident as creators, I believe they can do anything. And that's really my intent: to create products to inspire children to know that they can do anything.”
