Bleep Groups Update

by Janet Rae

Hi all,

The theme for this month is a World Wide connection………….As the Bleep groups continue to grow and expand, we are now focusing our intentions on creating a true World Wide connection—not as just a concept—as a real experience.

The 75+ coordinators around the world are now connected via a Yahoo group to discuss ideas and provide support in forming these groups. In addition, we are happy to announce our first North American/European conference call with guest speaker Lynn McTaggart discussing the Science of Intention. We even have ideas for 2007 including a world wide gathering, possibly on a cruise.

If you have just seen the movie or even if it’s been two years since you’ve seen the movie and you are interested in connecting with like-minded people who want to openly explore the ideas and concepts in the movie to effect a positive influence in our world, then either join or form a Bleep group. Together we can create a world of oneness. Please go to www.whatthebleep.com/groups/ for more information.

A big welcome to our new groups in:

Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania
Marion, Virginia
Calgary, Canada
Athens, Greece
Hilversum, The Netherlands
Barcelona, Spain

As always, I like to highlight a group each month so you if aren’t part of a group, you can feel connected and have a sense of the diversity within all the groups. This month the featured group is from London, Ontario, Canada . This Bleep Group has been meeting for over a year and the group coordinator, Judy, shares a very touching story about the group. Please enjoy!

When our "Bleeping" Group started our third of our 12 week sessions, I bought all new candle holders and new candles.  We have an opening “check-in” routine that we do weekly, and during this check-in, we each light a candle.  The first night of this new session, we each lit one of new candles.  We had one candle left, so one of the group members asked if we could light that candle for the family of a little 5 month old child that had died in the ER where she works that day. Of course we all agreed with that, and she lit the candle for the child and her family.
